what on earth is shino doing here?
I tell you what hes not doing, staring at the sun like everybody else.

for the

this is the first time attempting this darker cell shading, i think its a KO! spent way too much time on the sky/clouds and not enough on the characters. character spacing was really important, at one time with improper placement this scene looked a little obcene :horny:. At first it looked WAY to linear, and it still does. Hinata had to be placed farther and lower than the other two, i guess thats the natural disposiosion of the character. akamaru was placed for emotional support.

chars in pic: from left kiba, shino, hinata, and akamaru.

total time: 1 day off and on.

Brilliant! Seriously, this is very beautiful and it's staring my two favorite characters from Naruto (Shino and Hinata). I normally hate how fanart of an anime character comes out, but you've got them to clearly resemble Shino, Hinata, and Kiba, but at the same time it's clearly your own, unique style. Very beautifully done!

haha, nice idea. illustrations should stur up some dust and tell a story, rather than just be lonely portraits with blank faces....noted!
